How to use these guides

If you are starting from zero, read JLPT levels explained first to decide where you are aiming, then work through the kana charts before your first class. Once you can read kana, the N5 syllabus and N5 kanji list tell you exactly what the exam expects.

Guides are useful, but they cannot correct your pronunciation or tell you why your particle choice is wrong. That part needs a teacher — see how our courses work.
