How the course is taught

Classes are live and online with cameras on — never recordings. Batches are capped at 8–12 students so every learner speaks in every session and gets corrected on the spot. Sensei Pradnya teaches every batch personally; there are no assistant teachers.

Each month you sit a full-length mock paper in the real JLPT format, timed and scored, followed by a one-to-one review of the specific question types you lost marks on. Worksheets, kanji drill sheets, listening packs and a quiz library are included with the course.

Prefer a schedule built entirely around your work shift? The same syllabus is available as one-on-one sessions charged hourly.

After JLPT N5

Most students clear N5 on the first attempt and move straight into N4. If your goal is a Japan-facing job, N5 is the proof that you're serious — but N3 is usually the level employers hire at, so treat N5 as step one of three.

JLPT N5 — frequently asked questions

Can I really start JLPT N5 with zero Japanese?

Yes — that is exactly who the N5 course is built for. Day one starts at hiragana. No prior exposure to Japanese, anime vocabulary or self-study is assumed or required.

How long does JLPT N5 take?

About 90+ hours of class time. At 3–4 live sessions a week that works out to roughly 4 months, plus daily self-study of 30–45 minutes for kanji and vocabulary revision.

How much self-study is expected?

Around 30–45 minutes a day. Class time covers grammar and speaking; kanji and vocabulary stick only through short, daily repetition, which is why we hand out drill sheets and a quiz library.

Is N5 enough to get a job?

Usually not on its own. N5 shows commitment and helps for entry-level support and BPO roles, but most Japanese companies hiring in Pune look for N3 and above. Students who want a job typically continue N5 → N4 → N3.

When is the JLPT N5 exam held?

The JLPT is conducted twice a year in India, in July and December, at authorised centres including Pune. Registration opens roughly three to four months before each sitting.
